Midstream Health announced a $20 million Series A on October 29, 2026, led by Valtruis, with continued participation from Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), Foundry and CommonSpirit Ventures. The round brings its total funding to $29.2 million.
The company’s AI-powered platform analyzes hospitals’ contracts, claims, purchasing, pharmacy and payment data to flag financial leakage—such as uncollected rebates, pricing discrepancies and insurer underpayments—and help teams recover the money.
Midstream says its customer network spans more than 250 hospitals and represents over $100 billion in annual operating expenses. Recent customers include Fairview Health Services and Keck Medicine of USC.
The new funding is intended to expand product and engineering, support growth into additional healthcare areas, and build out sales, marketing and research capabilities.
