On Nov. 2, 2026, CinRx Pharma and Graviton BioScience announced CinRock Pharma, a jointly governed company to develop selective ROCK2-targeted therapies for cardiovascular disease.
CinRock plans to advance two compounds originating with Graviton. The initial focus is pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH), heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF), and other cardiomyopathies; the companies say the candidates have properties supporting distribution to cardiac tissue.
CinRx founder and CEO Jonathan Isaacsohn will lead CinRock and its research and development, working with Graviton founder and CEO Samuel D. Waksal. Graviton contributes ROCK2 expertise and intellectual property; CinRx contributes capital and development infrastructure.
The proposed rationale is that ROCK2 inhibition may affect fibrosis, inflammation, and cardiac hypertrophy. The programs are still in development, and the announcement did not provide clinical results, trial timelines, or financial terms.
The partnership builds on Waksal’s previous ROCK2 work associated with Rezurock, an approved treatment for chronic graft-versus-host disease; that history does not establish that the new cardiovascular candidates will be effective.
