Veradermics reported positive topline results on October 19, 2026, from Study 304, a Phase 3 trial of VDPHL01, its extended-release oral minoxidil, in 536 men with mild-to-moderate pattern hair loss.
After six months, target-area hair counts rose by 28.6 hairs/cm² with once-daily treatment and 36.4 hairs/cm² with twice-daily treatment, versus 6.6 hairs/cm² with placebo. Both comparisons were statistically significant (p<0.0001).
On a patient-reported hair-coverage scale, 55.7% of once-daily and 68.7% of twice-daily participants rated their hair ‘improved’ or ‘much improved,’ compared with 15% on placebo.
The company said the trial met its co-primary and secondary endpoints. It reported no treatment-related serious adverse events or cardiac events in this study; the results are topline and do not establish regulatory approval or long-term safety.
