Matchpoint Therapeutics raises $150M to advance autoimmune drug toward clinic

The biotech is Matchpoint Therapeutics, which announced a $150 million Series B on October 7, 2026.

The round was co-led by Nextech Invest and Norwest. New investors included Invus, BB Biotech, T1D Fund and BOLD Longevity Growth; existing backers also participated.

The company plans to use the funding to advance MPT-062, an oral T-cell modulator for autoimmune and inflammatory diseases, toward clinical proof of concept. Matchpoint expects clinical development to begin in 2027.

Matchpoint also has a separate Novartis collaboration:
a July 2025 agreement concerning oral covalent inhibitors against an undisclosed inflammation-related transcription factor. The financing announcement says that program will continue; it is distinct from lead asset MPT-062.
