Microstructure Imaging, Inc. announced FDA 510(k) clearance for MICSI-PET, a neurological PET software platform.
MICSI-PET combines MR-guided PET enhancement with automated quantification of amyloid and tau biomarkers.
The software is designed to use structural MRI to guide PET denoising and super-resolution while preserving quantitative PET data.
The release says the platform can produce automated Centiloid quantification, which is commonly used in Alzheimer's-related PET analysis.
The company is described as a Y Combinator-backed NYU Langone Health spinout.
