LBL-024 Shows Promising Early Results in First-Line NSCLC

Leads Biolabs reported updated Phase II results for opamtistomig (LBL-024), a PD-L1/4-1BB bispecific antibody combined with chemotherapy, in previously untreated advanced NSCLC at the 2026 World Conference on Lung Cancer.

Among 62 efficacy-evaluable patients, the objective response rate (ORR) was 71.0%, the disease-control rate was 95.2%, and the six-month progression-free-survival (PFS) rate was 70.6%, after a median follow-up of 7.1 months.

Results were particularly strong in squamous NSCLC:
ORR was 87.1%, DCR was 96.8%, and six-month PFS was 86.7%. Responses were similar in PD-L1-positive and PD-L1-negative patients.

In non-squamous NSCLC, PD-L1-positive patients achieved an ORR of 81.8%, a DCR of 100%, and a six-month PFS rate of 90.0%.

The company said the safety profile was manageable and consistent with PD-(L)1 antibody–chemotherapy combinations, with no new safety signals identified.

The findings are encouraging but remain early-stage, single-arm Phase II data. They require confirmation through longer follow-up, larger studies, and comparative trials before establishing clinical benefit or regulatory approval.
