Encoded closes $275M Series F to advance Dravet syndrome drug ETX101

Encoded Therapeutics closed a $275 million Series F financing to advance ETX101, its lead gene therapy for SCN1A-positive Dravet syndrome.

The round was co-led by GV and another healthcare investor, with participation from several large venture and healthcare funds.

Proceeds will fund a pivotal study in infants and young children, an expansion study in older children and adolescents, and scale-up of internal GMP manufacturing.

Encoded also plans to advance its broader neurology pipeline, including ETX301 toward a 2027 IND submission for post-amputation neuroma pain.

The company recently reported updated Phase 1/2 POLARIS data suggesting substantial seizure reductions and encouraging developmental gains in Dravet patients.
