Brainomix reported that its AI-based e-Lung analysis found additional evidence supporting Endeavor BioMedicines’ idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) therapy taladegib (also called ENV-101).
The analysis was done on CT imaging data from Endeavor’s Phase 2a ENV-IPF-101 trial and was presented as a late-breaking abstract at the European Respiratory Society Congress in Barcelona.
According to the reported results, the AI detected significant treatment effects in lung volume, overall interstitial lung disease burden, and total fibrosis extent, favoring taladegib over placebo.
Endeavor said the findings add to earlier trial data showing improvements in lung function, including forced vital capacity and total lung capacity, plus signs of regression in interstitial lung disease measures.
Brainomix’s e-Lung platform is being positioned as a quantitative imaging biomarker for pulmonary fibrosis trials, with prior studies also suggesting it can help predict IPF progression and survival.
