BioInnovation Institute (BII) committed about €8 million in follow-on support to six Copenhagen-based life-science and deep-tech startups:
PanTarg, 3Sonic, Inia Biosciences, Yngvi Bio, Proxi Biotech and Sagava.
Each company is receiving a €1.3 million founder-friendly convertible loan, after previously receiving €500,000 from BII. Total BII support per company therefore reaches €1.8 million.
The startups are moving from BII’s Venture Lab into its 18-month Venture House programme, intended to help mature their technologies, strengthen their businesses and prepare for external financing and market entry.
In addition to funding, the companies retain access to BII’s Copenhagen facilities, investor and adviser network, and business-development and commercialisation support.
The companies’ work spans areas including cancer therapy, inflammatory disease and sustainability-related technologies.
