Arvinas doses first patient in ARV-6723 Phase 1/2 trial

On September 28, 2026, Arvinas announced that the first participant had been dosed in its Phase 1/2 trial of ARV-6723, its first immuno-oncology clinical candidate.

ARV-6723 is an investigational oral PROTAC designed to degrade HPK1, a protein that can restrain immune activation. The approach is intended to strengthen anti-tumor immune responses; its benefit has not yet been established in patients.

The global, open-label ARV-6723-101 study (NCT07749586) will evaluate safety, tolerability, drug exposure and effects, and preliminary anti-tumor activity in adults with advanced solid tumors.

The trial begins with dose escalation of ARV-6723 alone and is designed to assess it later in combination with pembrolizumab. The initial monotherapy group includes patients previously treated with an immune checkpoint inhibitor who have no suitable standard treatment options.

This is an early-stage first-in-human study. The announcement reports trial initiation, not evidence that the drug is effective or safe.
