Angle Health announced a $600 million financing transaction at a $2.7 billion valuation, giving the employer-focused health-insurance startup unicorn status.
The headline figure comprises $200 million in new Series C capital and a $400 million tender offer, which provides liquidity to existing shareholders rather than operating cash for the company.
Vitruvian Partners led the deal. New investor Town Hall Ventures and existing backers Blumberg Capital, Portage Ventures, PruVen Capital, and Y Combinator also participated.
Angle Health sells AI-enabled health-benefits plans and related technology primarily to small and midsize employers. It said the fresh capital will support expansion of its platform, distribution, provider integrations, and care-delivery capabilities.
The company said the transaction was expected to close later in September 2026. Reports note that the secondary tender was priced at roughly a $2.5 billion valuation, below the $2.7 billion valuation attached to the new Series C.
