ADARx Pharmaceuticals, backed by AbbVie, has filed for a U.S. IPO to raise capital for its next-generation siRNA drug pipeline.
The company plans to use most of the proceeds to advance three clinical-stage programs, including agazisiran for complement-mediated diseases and onvuzosiran for hereditary angioedema.
ADARx is also funding development of ADX-626 for thrombotic disease and stroke prevention, plus two earlier-stage programs in obesity and neurodegeneration.
The offering would list ADARx on Nasdaq under the ticker ADRX, with J.P. Morgan, Morgan Stanley, TD Cowen, UBS, and LifeSci Capital as underwriters.
AbbVie previously paid $335 million upfront in a 2025 collaboration and license-option deal with ADARx, underscoring outside validation of the biotech’s siRNA platform.
