Metriport raises $26M to make fragmented patient records searchable at the point of care

Metriport announced $26 million in new funding on August 27, 2026, led by Matrix general partner TJ Parker, with participation from ARTIS Ventures and Y Combinator.

The financing brings the San Francisco-based healthcare data company’s total disclosed funding to $28.4 million. The company did not disclose a valuation.

Metriport connects to health information exchanges, EHRs, pharmacies, laboratories, and admission/discharge/transfer networks. It matches, extracts, deduplicates, and standardizes records into a unified FHIR-based model.

Clinicians can access the resulting data through an API, cloud data warehouse, or applications embedded in an EHR. The platform also offers record search, real-time alerts, AI-generated summaries, suspected-condition detection, and care-gap identification.

Metriport says its network can reach records associated with more than 340 million people, processes roughly 4.2 billion network requests monthly, and can return an initial structured record in under 15 seconds.

The company plans to use the capital to expand engineering, compliance, AI, machine-learning, and agentic capabilities. Its broader goal is to become the data and context layer supporting clinicians and healthcare AI systems.
