Insilico Medicine Reports Profitable First Half of 2026 as AI Drug-Discovery Deals Accelerate

Insilico Medicine reported first-half 2026 revenue of US$106.3 million, up 287.2% year over year, with a gross margin of 90.3%.

The company swung to a net profit of US$35.54 million, compared with a US$19.2 million loss in the first half of 2025. Adjusted net profit reached US$51.23 million.

Drug discovery and pipeline-development revenue rose to US$103.1 million, driven by upfront payments from business-development deals and milestones from existing collaborations.

Software-solutions revenue increased to US$2.70 million, supported by the company’s MMAI Gym ecosystem and AI model-training initiatives.

Cash and investments totaled US$584.8 million at June 30, 2026, while announced 2026 transactions had an aggregate contract value of approximately US$7.3 billion.

The results mark Insilico’s first profitable interim reporting period since its listing and support management’s strategy of combining AI technology, drug discovery, licensing, co-development and research collaborations.

The company continues advancing its pipeline, including Phase III development of rentosertib for idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis and additional programs in inflammatory and immune-related diseases.
