Braveheart Bio has raised approximately $382.5 million in an upsized IPO on Nasdaq (ticker:
BRVE), slightly above the previously reported $383 million figure appearing in secondary coverage.
Proceeds will fund global Phase 3 trials for BHB‑1893, an oral cardiac myosin inhibitor licensed from Hengrui Pharmaceuticals, in both obstructive (oHCM) and non‑obstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (nHCM).
Braveheart plans to initiate its global Phase 3 trial in oHCM (LIONHEART‑HCM) in the second half of 2026 and a global Phase 3 trial in nHCM (NOBLEHEART‑HCM) in the first half of 2027, with roughly $90 million earmarked for the oHCM study and $100 million for the nHCM study.
BHB‑1893 (HRS‑1893) originated in Hengrui’s discovery pipeline and is already in Phase 3 for oHCM in Greater China; under the 2025 license, Hengrui received an upfront total of about $75 million and is eligible for up to $1.013 billion in potential milestones plus royalties.
