Aizen Therapeutics secures oral peptide deal with unnamed San Diego biopharma

Aizen Therapeutics, an AI-native biotech based in San Diego, has struck a multi-program oral peptides deal with an unnamed San Diego-based public biopharma company, using its DaX™ AI platform to design oral peptide therapeutics for chronic immune disorders and other indications.

The collaboration provides Aizen with several million dollars in initial revenue and up to $100 million in milestone payments per target, marking a major commercial validation of its Mirror Peptides and oral biologics platform.

This deal underscores growing industry interest in AI-driven oral biologics and positions Aizen as a key partner for large biopharma players seeking next-generation peptide drugs with improved stability, lower immunogenicity, and the potential for oral delivery.
