Teladoc Health Takes Aim at Fragmented Healthcare With AI‑Driven Virtual Care Model

Teladoc Health has launched Teladoc One, an AI-driven virtual care model that aims to end fragmented, condition-by-condition healthcare and replace it with a single, personalized care pathway for each patient.

Teladoc One integrates the company’s Pulse intelligence engine, which combines clinical history, claims, pharmacy, device, and medical record data to identify patient needs earlier and coordinate care across virtual and in‑person providers.

The model is supported by multidisciplinary care teams and human care navigators, with AI used to drive proactive risk monitoring and reduce unnecessary referrals, ER visits, and hospitalizations.

Teladoc Health is fully tying its fees to clinical outcomes and total‑cost‑of‑care metrics, signaling strong confidence in the model’s ability to cut employer healthcare costs while improving outcomes.

Initial programs under Teladoc One will launch with select clients in September 2026, initially targeting cardiometabolic populations, with broader availability beginning January 2027.
