Novartis has agreed to acquire UK-based Myricx Bio for up to $1.5 billion, including $1.1 billion paid upfront in cash, with up to $400 million in potential milestone payments.
Myricx Bio is a London-headquartered biotech company focused on developing a novel class of antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) payloads based on N-myristoyltransferase inhibitors (NMTi) for treating cancer.
The deal is expected to close in the second half of 2026, subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals.
The acquisition strengthens Novartis’s oncology pipeline by bringing an innovative ADC payload platform in-house, enabling the development of next-generation ADCs for solid tumors and other cancers.
