Karoo Health, an Albuquerque-based cardiovascular technology startup, has raised $16.2 million in an oversubscribed Series A funding round to expand its AI-native platform for detecting and managing cardiovascular conditions.
The round was co-led by healthcare investors 7wire Ventures and Allumia Ventures, with participation from First Trust Capital Partners, SpringRock Ventures, Hyde Park Angels, and other investors.
Karoo Health plans to use the funds to advance its AI-driven predictive models and clinical signal-detection capabilities, scale its care coordination infrastructure, and expand engineering and clinical teams working with health plans and cardiology practices.
