Anixa Biosciences and Moffitt Cancer Center Advance Ovarian Cancer CAR-T Clinical Trial to Highest Dose Level to Date

Anixa Biosciences and Moffitt Cancer Center have advanced their Phase 1, dose-escalating clinical trial of a novel FSHR-targeted CAR-T/CER-T therapy for recurrent ovarian cancer to the fifth cohort, representing the highest dose level evaluated to date of 1×10⁷ CAR-positive cells/kg following lymphodepletion.

The study is conducted at Moffitt Cancer Center and is listed on ClinicalTrials.gov (NCT05316129). No dose-limiting toxicities have been observed across any cohort up to the prior dose level of 3×10⁶/kg CAR-T cells.

Five patients in the trial have surpassed one year of survival following treatment, with individual survival times of approximately 28, 20, 17, 17, and 13 months post-treatment, suggesting promising clinical outcomes and well-tolerated treatment so far.
