Pfizer's first new ADC from Seagen acquisition fails Phase 3 NSCLC trial but may live on in earlier lines and combinations
Pfizer's first new ADC from its Seagen acquisition, sigvotatug vedotin, has failed its Phase 3 NSCLC trial (SigVie-002/Be6A Lung-01).
The ADC did not significantly improve overall survival vs docetaxel in previously treated non-squamous NSCLC, missing the primary endpoint.
However, promising trends were seen in patients treated with only one prior line of therapy, and Pfizer will continue testing the drug in earlier lines and combinations with checkpoint inhibitors like Keytruda.
