Migraine biotech makes its debut with $46M to advance preclinical pipeline

Vedana Therapeutics, a migraine-focused biotech, emerged from stealth with $46 million in Series A funding to advance its preclinical pipeline of subcutaneously delivered antibodies targeting clinically validated migraine pathways, including PACAP mAb and PACAP X CGRP bispecific leads, co-led by Westlake BioPartners and Canaan Partners, with participation from Dawn Biopharma and Alexandria Venture Investments, aiming to rapidly progress best-in-class programs into the clinic in a capital-efficient manner and create value for shareholders.
