Lilly signs up to $1.26B deal for Hanmi's GLP‑2 drug sonefpeglutide for short bowel syndrome and other indications
Eli Lilly has licensed Hanmi's GLP-2 drug sonefpeglutide (HM15912) for short bowel syndrome and other indications in a deal worth up to $1.26 billion.
Hanmi will receive a $75 million upfront payment and up to $1.185 billion in future clinical, regulatory, and commercial milestones, plus royalties on sales.
Hanmi will complete the ongoing global Phase 2 trial in short bowel syndrome, while Lilly will pursue additional late‑stage and registrational trials worldwide (excluding Korea).
