Eli Lilly has acquired 4E Therapeutics, the second non‑opioid pain biotech it has bought in little over a year, strengthening its chronic pain pipeline with experimental once‑daily oral pain candidates for neuropathic pain, migraine and acute pain; and the FDA has set a Prescription Drug User Fee Act (PDUFA) action date of February 2, 2027 for Gilead’s once‑weekly oral Yeztugo (lenacapavir) 300‑mg tablet as a potential long‑acting oral PrEP pill for HIV prevention.
