Chai Discovery, an AI company, has announced an agreement with Eli Lilly's Lilly TuneLab platform to make Chai's frontier AI model capabilities available to select biotech companies in early biologics discovery.
Under the collaboration, certain Chai Discovery AI models, including its miniprotein design suite, will be offered to select TuneLab participants on a free trial basis, giving discovery scientists hands-on access to Chai's de novo design capabilities for biologic candidates.
The agreement is Chai Discovery's second with Lilly and is designed to accelerate molecule discovery by enabling TuneLab biotechs to generate in-silico candidates in hours without traditional library screening, with the option for further preclinical work via a deployment license.
