Medicines Australia announced four new Directors elected to its Board on 1 May 2026 following an April election process.
New Directors:
Dr. Manny Simons (Lilly), Ms. Chifumi Umeda (MSD), Mr. Andrew Thomas (GSK), Ms. Selina Clifford (UCB).
Outgoing Directors:
Tori Brown (Lilly), Gabi Mittas (Amgen), Anne Harris (Pfizer), Nirelle Tolstoshev (Astellas).
Chair Sue MacLeman welcomed the new Directors, emphasizing collaboration and strategic leadership for innovative medicines access.
CEO Liz de Somer expressed enthusiasm for working with the new Board to improve PBS access to medicines.
