Amgen announced $300 million additional investment on May 4, 2026, to expand its biologics facility in Juncos, Puerto Rico.
This brings Amgen's U.S. manufacturing investments announced over the last year to nearly $2 billion.
Previous investments include $650M in Puerto Rico, $900M in Ohio, $600M in California, and over $1.5B in North Carolina.
Juncos site, established in 1992, produces biologics distributed to more than 60 countries.
Investment supports production capacity expansion, next-generation technologies, workforce development, and hundreds of construction jobs.
