Xilio Therapeutics (Nasdaq:
XLO), a clinical-stage biotech company developing masked immuno-oncology therapies, announced the appointment of Cheryl R. Blanchard, Ph.D. to its board on April 16, 2026.
Christina Rossi stepped down from the board effective April 15, 2026, after five years of service.
Dr. Blanchard, with over 30 years of experience in life sciences, serves as executive chair of Anika Therapeutics (Nasdaq:
ANIK) and previously as its CEO.
She was elected as a Class III director until the 2027 annual meeting, chair of the Compensation Committee, and member of the Audit Committee.
Compensation includes $40,000 annual board fee, $12,000 as Compensation Committee chair, $7,500 as Audit Committee member, initial option for 10,000 shares, and annual options for 5,000 shares.
