Blackstone completed the final close of Blackstone Life Sciences VI (BXLS VI) at its hard cap of $6.3 billion, making it the largest private fund dedicated to life sciences.
The fund was oversubscribed, nearly 40% larger than its predecessor, announced on March 30, 2026.
Blackstone's life sciences platform now manages $15 billion in assets, has backed 34 regulatory approvals, and deployed nearly $2 billion over the past 12 months.
The platform invests in late-stage pharmaceutical and medical technology development and was launched in 2018.
