Aurion Biotech announced on March 11, 2026, the appointment of Dr. Marjan Farid as Chair of its Medical Advisory Board.
Dr. Farid is Director of Cornea, Cataract, and Refractive Surgery and Clinical Professor at the Gavin Herbert Eye Institute, University of California, Irvine.
She chairs the Cornea Clinical Committee of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS) and founded the UCI Severe Ocular Surface Disease Program.
